“Wait, no cost?”

That’s right: Public and charter schools in Region 5 can visit the planetarium for no cost, not even transportation. Learn more at our FAQ page.

Forestview Planetarium features:

Immersive dome theater
The planetarium houses a permanently mounted dome to see the stars, planets, moons, or anything one can imagine! 58 theater-style seats give students a comfortable front-row seat to the universe.

Standards-supported lessons for all classrooms
From the Earth around them to the stars above, treat your students to one of many exciting shows. Not just astronomy, either! Standards supported include:

•    Earth and space                                                     •    Social studies (geography)
